We achieve the deep tonal quality of the Black Wood Bisected Abstract Sculpture by charring the surface, then we carve textural indentations into the tall slender column. This version has straight ridges that extend from its minimalist metal base, while the top has a pattern similar to sunrays. We also offer a sculpture with slanting lines, one with angled lines, and one with linear striations, each of which exemplifies the Phillips Collection ethos of modern organic.
