Stalagmite Lamp Polished Brass MD, Glass Base, Assorted Size and Shape
Creating organically shaped forms from molten metal is a feat that requires great patience. Fortunately Phillips Collection's artisans are quite adept at working with the hot material and building it to a wonderful crescendo over time. Our Stalagmite Medium Polished Brass Lamp, which is made of metal in a polished brass finish, is such a creation. When the light shines through the fissures in the brightly finished metal composition that is placed atop a clear glass base, it creates a pattern-play on surrounding surfaces, reflecting the Phillips Collection ethos of modern organic.
Crafted from natural stalagmites, shape and size may vary from piece to piece. The natural stone color may also show through the plating in some areas.
