Phillips Collection’s Erosion Sculpture on Stand is a recreation of this natural phenomenon that demonstrates the unique forms wood can take when introduced to the elements. Constructed from teak wood in a bleached finish, the Erosion Sculpture is mounted to a matte black iron stand that gives this organic piece a splash of modern flair.
This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. Color and texture in wood will vary and natural holes and subtle openings add unique character to your piece. Wood "breathes" and it is normal for cracks to present themselves over time. This is not considered a defect.
