The beauty of working with a material like composite is that the design details we can achieve are virtually endless. Take our Small Crumpled Pedestal, which looks as if it has been built of engineered hardwood slathered with a fluid material frozen in time. The abstract pattern isn't gold liquid poured onto the surface; the indentations are embedded in the molded piece that we've made brilliant by covering the surface in a gold leaf finish. We also offer the pedestal in medium and large sizes. Each of these reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.
Gold Leaf finish is applied to cast resin form by hand. This finish is NOT suitable for outdoor use. We recommend using coasters on this finish to prevent watermarks and scratching.
